BENEFITS OF CHIROPRACTIC CARE

People usually only think about going to a chiropractor when they have injuries or continuous pain, but don't often think of it as a way to prevent things from happening! While chiropractic care can actually help with both of these things, we stand by the idea that it can also help with your overall wellness. Here’s what chiropractic can do:

• Lower the risk of injury – when your nervous system is not aligned, the other systems in your body probably aren't either! This leaves room for things to get out of sync, therefore increasing the chance of injury (think pulled muscles, joint pain, etc). Going to the chiropractor regularly can help align that nervous system, thus likely reducing your risk of injury!

• Elevate your mood – did you know that neurological chiropractic care can help balance your hormones!? We love it for increasing your “feel-good” hormones (serotonin) and lowering your stress hormones (cortisol).

• Increase your energy – let’s face it: life is TIRING. We’ve got sports and activities (for ourselves or our kiddos), work, feeding hungry mouths, finding time for self-care, and a myriad of other things taking up our time and energy. This can leave you feeling exhausted, sore, and maybe even stiff. • Manage Pain – chronic pain from injuries, or from other conditions, tend to respond very well to regular chiropractic care! Pain can negatively impact your life quality and some pain medications can have unpleasant side effects. Chiropractic care offers a more natural way to be pain-free and brings out your body’s own ability to heal! We believe that regular care can help you and your body work toward the root of most issues – we’re all about working on the cause and not simply putting a bandaid on symptoms.
